We are currently working on two documentaries, "Working Ranches" and "The Cowgirl Mystique".

The evolution of early American ranchers to the working ranches of the West today is a dramatic and emotional journey through love, time and toil. 

The "Ranches" project has turned into a labor of love for both Vickie and myself. 

The discoveries we've made in researching and filming this project have been life altering.  We've discovered new friends with which we've shared pranks, laughter, hard work and heartache.

This type of film rarely produces the return required to cover expenses. However, the life and experiences we've shared with the amazing people chronicled in "Ranches" is something money can not buy. 

We honor them by documenting their lives.

During the filming, another story began to develop, that of the working Cowgirl. 

Initially we thought "Cowgirl" would fold nicely into "Ranches".   We soon realized that documenting the lives of these incredible working women required our full attention and dedication.  

"The Cowgirl Mystique or "The Workin' Cowgirl"  or whatever it will eventually be titled, will stand as a testimonial to the perseverance, stamina, ethics and mystery of the American Cowgirl.
